Combined immunoglobulin free light chains are novel predictors of cardiovascular events in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm

Background and Aims: Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is characterized by the presence of B cells immunoglobulins in wall, mainly adventitia. Kappa (κ) lambda (λ) free light chains (FLCs) are produced from during immunoglobulin synthesis. We aim to investigate prognostic value combined FLCs (cFLCs or summed κ λ) patients with AAA.
